Who are you?
5+ years of experience building and maintaining backend systems in production;
Strong hands-on experience with PHP and frameworks such as Symfony or similar;
Experience working on evolving and improving existing systems in live environments;
Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling;
Experience designing and consuming REST APIs;
Strong focus on code quality, testing, and maintainability;
Good understanding of performance, reliability, and error handling;
Comfortable working with complex business rules and data-critical systems;
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders;
Fluency in English is mandatory.
Role
Develop and maintain backend services in a production environment;
Build reliable and scalable backend logic with a strong focus on correctness and stability;
Continuously improve system architecture, code quality, and maintainability;
Ensure smooth integrations and data exchange between systems;
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested PHP code following best practices;
Contribute to automated testing strategies to ensure high-quality production services;
Collaborate closely with product and technical leadership to align on requirements and priorities;
identify performance and reliability issues and propose improvements;
Document technical decisions and improvements when relevant.
